Kentucky Warblers are common migrants and uncommon breeders on the UTC. They migrate though in April and the first 3 weeks of September.

Bold yellow spectacles, black crown, olive back and bright yellow underparts mark this ground feeding warbler of the dense undergrowth. In the summer listen for its loud wrenlike call

During migration look for it at High Island, San Bernard NWR, and Sabine Woods. In the Summer check White Memorial Park and the Horseshoe Lakes Trail.
